It was a wonderful stay in this lovingly and thoughtfully furnished apartment. We felt very well looked after and comfortable. You'll find some excellent restaurants nearby, which are also listed on the Loft's website. We also recommend Ousters Rus, which we personally enjoyed very much.Posted on Jeffrey mac kiedannTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having spent just a weekend at the wilderness, we were welcomed and experienced great hospitality in this beautiful part of the Western Cape. The meals were most enjoyable and Quintin is an excellent host. Highly recommended!Posted on Tanja KuunTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Spent 5 wonderful nights at this superb setting. Very stylish and beautifully decorated. Quinton is the best host we've ever had, and Holly is the sweetest dog in Wilderness ~ 10 out of 10!!!Posted on Christopher HardyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stayed for one week at Red Door Cottage during our holiday of the Garden Route from the UK. Out of all the accommodation that we experienced the Cottage was by far the nicest and full of calm. The homemade meals available are to die for being made by one of the owners who is a retired restaurant owner/chef. The Cottage is of a good size with beautiful furnishings, comfortable bedroom, large shower room and everything that you need for a perfect stay. Private parking is behind electric gates. The loadshedding problem was eased with the property having an inverter and good WiFi. The views from the Cottage and its own private patio area are magnificent looking over a river, lake and mountains. I thoroughly recommend this accommodation.Posted on Brendan ConeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is paradise. So relaxing, and so tastefully decorated. Feels very "old English countryside" in its decoration and the property. Quinton was a highlight: very personable, funny, great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. My wife had broken her foot a week back and Quinton went out of his way to make sure she had a stool to sit on in the shower. Also appreciated that the shower has a bar to hold onto for accessibility or for those with reduced mobility. Bed was very comfortable. The cute little dog Holly (who roams around outside) was so sweet. And last but not least, the view from the room is absolutely stunning.
